Job Title: Social Worker - Children's Disability Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children's Disability Service team. As a Social Worker, you will provide a high-quality service to children and families affected by disability, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a Social Work Service to children and families affected by disability, including children and young people with ASD.
  • Work with children and families who have complex health needs, including life-limiting health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children and families in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and education specialists, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on disability-related topics.

Requirements:

  • CQSW, Dip SW, CSS or approved equivalent professional qualification in Social Work.
  • Current Driving Licence.
  • Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council on the 'Social Worker' part of the Register.
  • At least 3 years Social Work experience of working with children and families affected by disability.
