This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and accomplished Social Worker with a proven track record in adult social work practice, supervision, and leadership.

The successful candidate will be a key player within our integrated team of health and social care professionals, collaborating closely with the Inverness East Rural Team and other relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Social Work Team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and professional development.
  • Lead and manage complex cases involving vulnerable adults, demonstrating expertise in protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement integrated care plans.
  • Promote best practice within the team and contribute to organizational initiatives aimed at enhancing social work services.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BSc, MSc in Social Work).
  • Significant experience in adult social work practice, including a demonstrable understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to person-centered care and promoting the well-being of vulnerable adults.
