Industrial Placement MEP Engineer - Plymouth

We are seeking a talented student from a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background to join our award-winning MEP team in Plymouth.

As a team that specializes in delivering sustainable projects, we offer a unique approach to M&E, working collaboratively with the design team and using our expertise to guide clients in making key decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design production using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software
  • Design coordination with other professional disciplines
  • Developing energy modelling and compliance calculations for building performance
  • Creating energy strategy reports and sustainability statements for planning applications
  • Participating in design team and client meetings
  • Attending site visits

Requirements:

  • Be part-way through a relevant degree, BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons)
  • Be driven, hardworking, productive, and determined
  • Be willing and eager to learn new skills
  • Have strong IT competencies, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to new software packages
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
