Industrial Placement Design Manager

We're seeking a talented Design Manager to join our Construction team on an Industrial placement. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction design management, working alongside seasoned professionals and contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects.
As a Design Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating and managing the design process for construction projects, ensuring design deliverables are produced on time and to the required standard. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design specifications are met, and collaborate with the team to develop design solutions that align with project objectives, budget, and timeline.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the coordination and management of the design process for construction projects.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design specifications are met.
- Reviewing and analysing project drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Supporting the development of design solutions that align with project objectives, budget, and timeline.
This placement is ideal for students undertaking a degree in Construction Management or related, who have the option or requirement to complete a placement year from 2025 - 2026. Upon completion, you'll return to university with a graduation year of 2027.
