As a Construction Estimator, you'll play a vital part in our projects, working on exciting initiatives that will shape the future of our communities.**Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct thorough cost assessments and risk analyses for tenders and projects
• Develop and negotiate contracts, ensuring fair terms for all parties involved
• Manage and reconcile costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Provide detailed cost and value reports, highlighting key areas for improvement
• Collaborate with project teams to discuss performance and provide commercial input to project strategy
• Ensure effective contract administration, including data reporting and record keeping
• Manage subcontractor accounts and payments, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions
**Requirements:**
• Hold a degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or a related discipline
• Possess previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a civils contractor environment
• Have a working knowledge of NEC contracts, including options A, B, and C
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
**About Us:**
EKFB is a joint venture between four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, and BAM Nuttall. We're proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link. Our scope of work includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges, and around 30 million cubic meters of excavation.
