We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plants and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the safe operation of the plant and the planned preventative maintenance of all equipment, fixed and mobile.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures, risk assessments, and training programs for staff.
- Collate and report on monthly performance KPIs for the Area Operations.
- Ensure appropriate contractor and visitor inductions are carried out in line with company procedures.
- Manage and drive operational performance through KPIs.
- IOSH/NEBOSH certification would be advantageous.
- Full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems.
- Working knowledge of production processes, H&S and Environmental policies.
- Strong IT skills, including a high level of competence with SAP and Microsoft packages.
