We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team on a fixed-term contract of up to 12 months. Our team operates across various locations including Perth, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, York, and London.
This position is ideal for an individual who is highly organized and possesses a strong attention to detail. We seek a candidate with excellent investigative abilities, capable of conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective problem-solving strategies.
Overview of the Role:
At Aviva, we leverage a third-party SaaS platform as our primary tool for claims estimation and management.
Over the past decade, the platform has been tailored to meet Aviva's specific needs, showcasing a high level of configurability. Most of the configuration and change management processes are handled internally by our team.
The successful candidate will support the utilization of this software while also contributing to the development of existing and new functionalities, ensuring that Aviva maximizes its investment in this third-party solution.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Property Claims and familiarity with managing or supporting a claims platform is preferred; alternatively, a background in Claims or IT Support is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical issues to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills to convey technical challenges or change requirements clearly.
- Ability to take initiative and manage personal workload across multiple projects simultaneously.
- A solid IT background complemented by strong analytical skills.
