Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our charity retail team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our store, including managing a team of staff and volunteers, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to donors, customers, and volunteers, ensuring a welcoming and inviting shopping experience.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including receiving and processing donations, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the store is clean and tidy.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage a bank of skilled and general volunteers to support the store's operations.
- Community Engagement: Establish links with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps, and individuals within the community to promote the store and encourage donations and volunteering.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to donors, customers, and volunteers.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, volunteers, and customers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to problem-solve and think creatively to overcome challenges and achieve sales growth.
- Business Acumen: Basic understanding of business principles, including finance, marketing, and sales.
- Annual Leave: Starting at 26 days plus bank holidays, with the ability to buy an extra week.
- Virtual GP Service: Phone consultations available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and video consultations from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week.
