Job Purpose
As a key member of the ES Broadcast team, the Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kit room. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term warehouse operations to deliver exceptional service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, supervising the kit room team, and ensuring that all equipment is maintained and tested regularly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement forward planning strategies to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely delivery of kits.
  • Collaborate with the Bookings Department to manage logistics and ensure seamless delivery and collection of equipment.
  • Supervise the daily schedule of drives, collections, dispatches, and pick-ups, ensuring kits are prepared and dispatched promptly and accurately.
  • Attend weekly management meetings to discuss progress and address any challenges.
  • Conduct regular audits to optimize workflows and ensure efficient processes from order to invoicing stage.
  • Ensure maintenance and testing schedules are carried out to maintain high standards of equipment.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Hires are prepared, dispatched promptly, and accurately, with all equipment meeting high standards.
  • Client retention is maintained at a high level, with regular repeat and referral business generated.
  • The kit room is organized, efficient, and tidy, with a motivated and performing team.
  • Kit check-in is swift, with any issues with breakages or losses flagged appropriately.
