TROO Hospitality Limited is on the lookout for a Payroll Operations Supervisor. This pivotal role involves managing all facets of payroll administration, ensuring precision, adherence to regulations, and streamlined processes so that every employee receives their remuneration accurately and punctually.


This position demands robust analytical skills, a comprehensive grasp of payroll regulations, and outstanding attention to detail along with communication prowess. You will work in close collaboration with the Talent & Culture division, hotel management, leadership, and various departments to execute effective strategies that improve the payroll process and enhance the employee experience. As an integral part of the organization, you will significantly influence our workplace culture and boost employee morale.


Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration
· Oversee comprehensive payroll administration.
· Ensure all payroll modifications regarding salaries and tronc are current.
· Prepare and evaluate tronc documentation and spreadsheets.
· Assist with payroll closing reports.

Data Analysis and Reporting
· Ensure weekly rota completion and assist in generating weekly employee cost reports.
· Reconcile monthly payroll with weekly rosters, providing insights into variances for monthly management review.
· Report payroll-related issues and changes to management.
· Prepare and maintain monthly tronc documentation.
· Manage payroll tracking documentation.
· Collaborate with Talent & Culture and Operations teams regarding any payroll adjustments and deductions.

Audit and Compliance
· Partner with the Head of Talent & Culture and Finance Teams to conduct regular internal audits to ensure payroll record accuracy.
· Address discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly.
· Reconcile payroll and PAYE balance sheet accounts with payroll records monthly.

Regulatory Compliance
· Ensure accurate processing of statutory payments and compliance with payroll tax laws.
· Stay informed on changes in payroll and tax legislation.
· Assist in the preparation of P11Ds, HMRC, and pension-related inquiries.

Support and Communication
· Act as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees.
· Provide guidance to managers on payroll policies and procedures.
