Team Leader for Autism and Young Adult Services

Position Overview:

The Autism and Early Adulthood Team is seeking a dedicated Team Leader with a background in supporting adults and young adults transitioning into adulthood, particularly those with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Your Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide strategic leadership to foster a collaborative and achievement-oriented environment.
  • Oversee and mentor the staff team, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the service offered.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Demonstrates a commitment to improving outcomes for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Enjoys mentoring both newly qualified and seasoned social workers to help them reach their full potential.
  • Possesses strong organizational abilities.
  • Is innovative in managing budgets and adept at resolving challenges.
