Maintenance Engineer Job Description

A key role within our facilities operation is that of the Maintenance Engineer. This position is responsible for supporting the Company's facilities across all sites, working as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT) in accordance with industry standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to Company health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Produce results in a timely manner, meeting the requirements and quality standards of external accrediting bodies.
  • Work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends or night shifts, as required.
Requirements:
  • Certified in or working towards, City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate for In-Service Inspections and Testing of Electrical Equipment (2377).
  • Certified in or working towards, City and Guilds - Basic Electrical Maintenance course.
  • Certified in or working towards, Electrical Safe Isolation training.
  • Excellent IT skills and experience of working with electronic systems and Microsoft packages.
  • Familiar with PAT testing equipment, software, and record management.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise tasks with a flexible approach to working.
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
