Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance of generator sets and associated equipment, with a focus on power generation systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance of generator sets and associated equipment.
- Maintain the landfill gas collection system and associated equipment.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Work out of two sites, predominantly from the Newcastle Under Lyme site and occasionally from the Cotesbach site.
- Maintenance Engineer or similar with experience in power generation.
- Experience working on diesel engines and related control systems.
- Safety-focused and skilled in both preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Full driver's license required.
