About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our Oncology Dietetics team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of non-complex oncology patients, providing nutritional support and guidance to patients and their carers.
  • Support dietitians in managing patients in the community receiving enteral nutrition, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to service improvement projects, working collaboratively with the dietetics team to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, health/social care professionals, and members of the public with queries regarding oncology dietetics.
  • Develop and maintain a basic knowledge of evidence-based practice, common conditions, and national/local standards within oncology.
