About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetics team at Bedford Hospital. As a specialist dietitian, you will provide expert care to patients with cancer, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload of oncology patients, providing specialist dietetic input and support.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant multidisciplinary team clinics, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide a highly specialist dietetics service to consultant-led outpatient clinics, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
Person Specification

We are looking for a dietitian with:

  • Experience working in oncology and managing complex caseloads.
  • Strong knowledge of general dietetics and oncology, with excellent time management and autonomous working skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, providing support and supervision to less experienced dietitians and dietetic assistant practitioners.
