About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Supervise Your Shift: You will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.
  • Case Manage Residents: You will work closely with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
  • Administer and Record Medication: You will be responsible for administering and recording medication, ensuring that our residents receive the correct medication at the right time.
  • Carry Out Risk Assessments: You will conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and take steps to mitigate them.
  • Support Residents with Daily Needs: You will work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring that they remain as active and independent as possible.
  • Develop Services: You will work closely with our leadership team to develop services that meet the needs of our residents.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care: You will have a strong understanding of health and social care principles and practices.
  • Leadership and Supervision Skills: You will have proven leadership and supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • IT Literacy: You will be IT literate and able to use a range of software systems to support your work.
  • Ability to Allocate and Delegate Work: You will have the ability to allocate and delegate work effectively, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Good Understanding of Care Planning Processes: You will have a good understanding of care planning processes and be able to work closely with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to create and deliver care plans.
  • Ability to Administer Medication: You will be able to administer medication, with a strong understanding of the importance of accurate medication administration.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. You will be a natural leader, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire your team. You will have a strong understanding of health and social care principles and practices, with a good understanding of care planning processes. You will be IT literate and able to use a range of software systems to support your work.
