Job Summary:
The Isle of Wight Council is seeking a highly skilled Business Support Coordinator to join our Children's Services Resilience Around the Family Team (RAFT). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating Family Time supervised contacts, meetings, and supervisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and organize Family Time sessions (Supervised contact) under the professional guidance and supervision of Children's Services.
- Work alongside experienced social workers and managers to improve outcomes for families.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including children, families, and community partners.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Family Time and supervised contact.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and families in a social care or related setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
