We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Arts Psychotherapist to join our Bristol Inpatient Arts Psychotherapy Team at Callington Road Hospital.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a supportive team of Inpatient Arts Psychotherapists, providing a comprehensive service including specialist assessment, formulation, and individual/group interventions.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will work on Oakwood ward at Southmead hospital in Bristol, a mixed male and female adult mental health Acute Ward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing evidence-based assessment, formulation, and individual/group interventions
- Working with a wide range of mental health issues in the dynamic inpatient setting
- Developing psychologically-informed services and contributing to multidisciplinary approaches

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- A postgraduate qualification in Arts Psychotherapy at MA/MSc level or equivalent
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), the UK Council for Counselling Psychotherapy (UKCP) or equivalent (ADMP)
- Desirable: inpatient adult mental health acute ward experience and experience of working with challenging behaviours
