We are seeking a dedicated professional to assist in advancing the operational safety measures during this pivotal phase of their safety enhancement journey.
You will play a crucial role in promoting optimal safety practices by aiding in the enhancement of their production methodologies.
- Implement the Health and Safety framework, fostering a culture among staff to achieve set objectives.
- Ensure a secure working environment for all personnel and visitors, while adhering to legal health and safety standards and company policies.
- Develop Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), conduct risk assessments, and create training matrices.
- Lead collaborative health and safety initiatives proactively.
- Offer expert advice and guidance on health & safety issues to all relevant stakeholders within your designated area.
- Continuously enhance health & safety management by reviewing and auditing existing arrangements.
Formulate strategies to organize work systems aimed at minimizing health & safety risks, and recommend appropriate modifications to equipment, practices, and processes.
Establish comprehensive reporting systems for health & safety metrics, providing management information and statistics for both internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that all site risk assessments are updated regularly and that training conducted on-site complies with legislative requirements and best practices.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in health & safety within manufacturing or logistics sectors.
- IOSH/NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualifications.
- Exceptional team-building, leadership, and motivational abilities.
