Position Overview:

We are in search of a passionate Exhibition Marketing Manager to spearhead and execute innovative marketing initiatives for our Baby & Toddler Shows. This role will report directly to the Portfolio Director and will involve managing marketing strategies for five annual events.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management

  • Design, execute, and assess marketing campaigns encompassing advertising, digital outreach, design, public relations, and partnerships to enhance visitor engagement.
  • Develop and oversee campaign timelines to ensure timely completion of all marketing activities.
  • Act as the brand steward, establishing and maintaining brand guidelines that align with organizational expectations.
  • Coordinate promotional activities, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and within budgetary constraints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to guarantee exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage and curate databases to identify and segment target audiences effectively.
  • Support the sales team in boosting stand and sponsorship sales.
  • Optimize marketing expenditures to ensure effective budget utilization, while tracking financial performance.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best service delivery at competitive costs.
  • Utilize creativity to explore new business opportunities and launch innovative initiatives.
  • Attend industry events to foster relationships, expand our database, and identify new business prospects.

Planning and Analysis

  • Analyze customer insights and market trends, including competitor activities, to inform marketing strategies in collaboration with the Portfolio Director.
  • Regularly assess marketing effectiveness through KPI analysis and report on campaign outcomes to drive success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance, to align efforts.
  • Identify needs of visitors and exhibitors to recommend enhancements for events.
  • Conduct comprehensive post-event evaluations, providing actionable insights for future improvements.
  • Encourage a culture of experimentation and adaptation to foster continuous improvement.

Reporting

  • Generate and distribute reports on campaign activities, performance metrics, and effectiveness.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for visitor attendance and revenue generation.
  • Lead regular status meetings with the Portfolio Director.
  • Ensure timely preparation of post-event reports and other necessary documentation for meetings and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of database segmentation.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, particularly in email campaigns, social media integration, and utilizing PPC and SEO for audience development.
  • Commercially savvy with a successful track record in team management.
