About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Trainee Health Screener at InHealth Group. As a screener, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality eye screening services to patients with diabetes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure patients feel welcome and comfortable throughout the screening process
  • Undertake the screening checklist to ensure a safe environment
  • Basic maintenance of camera and equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Safely administer eye drops and undertake photographs
  • Identify patients requiring urgent onward referral
  • Maintain sufficient stock of consumables

Requirements

  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients' needs
  • Ability to travel to screening services in the area
  • Adaptable and able to think quickly to resolve problems
  • Flexible working week, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to completing the Health Screener Diploma
