About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Custody Paramedic to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.
- Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illness or injury and take appropriate actions and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
- Undertake forensic examination of persons in police care and record injuries and/or collect DNA evidence.
- Support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation.
- Administer medications through PGDs (patient group directions) and PTPs (Patient treatment protocol).
