About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Custody Paramedic to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in police custody
  • Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries and refer onwards for more serious conditions
  • Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police custody, including recording and collecting DNA evidence
  • Support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation
  • Administer medications through PGDs and PTPs

Requirements

  • 2 years' minimum experience in a healthcare setting
  • Confidence and ability to make quick decisions
  • Autonomy to manage own workload
