Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Business Support Assistant to join our team.

Location: Bridgwater

Salary: Approximately £24,000 plus annual bonus and benefits

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish purpose and direction surrounding OGSM deliverables.
  • Oversee payroll and HR administration, including time tracking and holiday management.
  • Support site personnel processes.
  • Manage purchase orders and reconcile invoices.
  • Recognize the influence of personal and team actions on achieving site/business OGSM and its financial implications.
  • Order uniforms and personal protective equipment, managing stock control and distribution, as well as cleaning and stationery supplies.
  • Generate and distribute reports for the site.
  • Exhibit leadership in health and safety by promoting the Müller safety culture.
  • Handle general office and facilities management, including coordinating hospitality as needed.
  • Ensure site communications are current, including notice boards and newsletter distribution.
  • Engage with all contacts in a professional manner.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the site, performing reception duties when necessary.
  • Investigate credit control claims.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities within the workplace and initiate personal projects.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of site events.
  • Provide support in instances such as annual leave.
  • Facilitate site inductions and onboarding processes.
