Job Title: Assessor Education and Childcare

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assessor to join our Education and Childcare Department. As an Assessor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of learners in the workplace, ensuring the successful delivery of agreed programs in line with College policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of learners in the workplace, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of qualifications.
  • Contribute to the delivery of training to enhance underpinning knowledge and development of competence for each candidate in their case load.
  • Liaise with employers to generate new business and support learners on a range of Education and Childcare qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3.
  • Support the development of Industry Placements/Apprenticeships at the appropriate Level (1-3) and carry out all operations required for satisfactory delivery of agreed programs.
Requirements:
  • Industry experience and a Level 3 Assessors Award are essential.
  • A Level 4 Verifiers Award (or equivalent qualification) would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Working Pattern:

The working pattern for this post is negotiable and will be discussed at interview.
