Jupiter Recruitment is proud to present this exciting opportunity for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to join a leading healthcare provider in the Eye, Suffolk area.

The Role

This specialized care home provides exceptional support for residents living with dementia. Housed within a beautifully converted Victorian country house, the environment fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide essential support to the Home Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home in their absence.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure all aspects of the service adhere to CQC standards and regulations.
  • Champion the highest quality care for residents, promoting their independence and well-being through personalized support and life enrichment opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative approach to care planning by actively involving residents and their families in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care programs.
Essential Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager within a care home setting.
Preferred Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

  • A genuine passion for working with individuals living with dementia and the ability to build strong rapport with them.
  • A comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and best practices in care provision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with residents, families, external professionals, and colleagues.
