Job Title: Hygiene Manager

A leading food manufacturing business in Kent is seeking a motivated and experienced Hygiene Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing a hygiene team across the entire site, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. The role requires a strong understanding of hygiene management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily hygiene functions and develop a strong team work ethic.
  • Ensure training cards and risk assessments are prepared for various hygienic maintenance tasks in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure the factory meets the standards set out in the SHE policy.
  • Ensure all relevant COSHH data is received and incorporated into schedules as appropriate.
  • Maintain factory GMP daily while keeping the factory clean and tidy and audit ready.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in hygiene management roles.
  • COSHH certification essential.
  • Excellent health and safety awareness.
  • Listeria awareness essential.
  • HACCP/Food Safety/IOSH.
What's on Offer:
  • Paying circa £50,000.
  • 33 days holiday.
  • 5 days a week (12pm – 8pm).
