The Midlands Division of Crest Nicholson is seeking a versatile Customer Service Technician to perform remedial tasks within residential properties, addressing substandard workmanship and replacing defective materials. This role is essential in ensuring that all accepted remedial tasks are executed with minimal disruption to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves direct interaction with clients, where you will receive work requests from a Customer Services Manager. You will be responsible for managing communications with Crest Nicholson clients, coordinating the scheduling of work, and ensuring timely completion within agreed timelines.

Your duties will include ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand when performing the work, and that all tasks are completed in line with our quality standards.

Examples of tasks you may undertake include:

  • Painting and decorating
  • Replacing mastic seals
  • Wall tiling
  • Carpentry tasks such as adjusting doors and fixing creaky floors
  • Adjusting paving slabs
  • Repairing plasterwork
  • Adjusting kitchen units

Throughout your work, you will provide regular updates to the Customer Service Manager and communicate any issues that arise during the process. Additionally, you will maintain a record of recurring problems, identifying any materials or products that may be subpar to prevent future issues.

All tasks must be carried out in compliance with our Health and Safety policies and quality procedures. We expect all employees to present themselves professionally and to maintain tools and equipment in a safe and orderly manner.

About You

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail. You should possess skilled tradesman experience in a similar role within property services and snagging. A friendly demeanor with a focus on customer service and quality is essential, along with excellent organizational and time management skills.
