As a Laundry Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our linen services, from delivery to management of annual leave and sickness.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the linen services team to ensure they follow departmental and trust policies.
- Manage annual leave and sickness, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Communicate effectively with all users of the linen services to ensure high standards are met.
- Investigate and resolve complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Take a leading role in departmental IT initiatives.
- Provide advice and support to the linen team.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Level NVQ 3 in a management discipline or equivalent experience.
Desirable Criteria
- IOSH qualification.
Skills
Essential Criteria
- Experience of supervising a multi-disciplined workforce.
- Knowledge of supervising a linen service.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in the role of a linen assistant or equivalent front-line service.
