About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Supervisor to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Domestic Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our domestic services, including supervision of teams and management of annual leave and sickness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective and efficient records of all domestic services, observing varying trends and evidencing them to the Senior Domestic Supervisor.
  • Communicate daily with all users regarding any variation in services that may be required, using judgement to rearrange priorities when necessary and in consultation with the Assistant Domestics Manager.
  • Understand and adhere to procedures for dealing with complaints and ensure they are dealt with promptly and sympathetically.
  • Attend daily briefing meetings with the Senior Domestic Supervisor and liaise with other Supervisors to ensure operational continuity.
