About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Supervisor to join our team at Jones Bootmaker in Chichester. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management team in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer service, providing expert advice on shoe care and accessories
- Coach and develop the team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage stock levels, visual merchandising, and store displays to maintain a high standard of presentation
- Work closely with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
- Knowledge of shoe care and accessories, with the ability to provide expert advice to customers
