We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to join our Inpatient Physiotherapy teams at Worthing Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and evaluation to clients within our Inpatient Physiotherapy service.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with qualified physiotherapists to provide a comprehensive therapy service to patients.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with varied conditions, including orthopaedic, elderly rehabilitation, amputees, and neurological conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to provide information and advice on areas within the scope of practice.
- Conduct routine procedural-based assessments and implement treatment programs, including exercises and mobility rehabilitation, individually or in groups.
- Regularly evaluate and analyze treatment programs and modify them as necessary, without prior consultation with a qualified physiotherapist.
- Provide feedback to physiotherapists regarding patient progress and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of service quality.
- Assist with data collection and audit to monitor service performance and contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives.
