Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to provide support to children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to children with autism and SEMH needs
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of children with special educational needs
  • Support children with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
Requirements:
  • A level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs
  • Some experience working with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
What We Offer:
  • A competitive rate of £87 per hour
  • A temporary and long-term contract
  • A full-time position
