Teaching Assistant Opportunity for Special Needs School

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a special needs school catering to children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs, as well as some experience working with children. Up-to-date Safeguarding training is a must, and we can provide this if needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
What We Offer

Competitive rate of £87.90 per hour, with the opportunity to extend the contract or move to a permanent position based on performance.

Full-time position, working 8:45 am - 3:20 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
