SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a special needs school catering for children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have experience working with special needs or are eager to learn and develop their skills in this field. The successful candidate will work closely with the school's team to provide support and guidance to children with autism and other special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to children with autism and other special educational needs
  • Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the school's team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Support children in developing their social, emotional, and behavioral skills
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
