About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Retail Partnerships to join our team at Hyve Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with top retailers and brands, driving revenue growth and expanding our market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new retail and brand partners, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding our market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at top retailers and brands, understanding their key projects and challenges and communicating the value proposition of our events.
  • Identify and engage with C-suite executives, confident in understanding their key projects and challenges and communicating our events' capabilities to connect them with the entire retail ecosystem.
  • Conceptualize and execute new engagement methods to drive awareness and conversion across key accounts.
  • Cross-collaborate with content, marketing, events, and sales teams to ensure we're tactically leveraging our community to meet team and organizational goals.
  • Attend industry events, ensuring ROI is demonstrated.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through to post-show feedback.
  • Track registration, produce contingency plans when necessary to meet independent and overall target goals and KPIs.
  • Work closely with marketing to convert inbound leads to registered attendees.
  • Build and execute email marketing campaigns to drive awareness and conversion across key accounts, including producing exciting and original copy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a targeted & performance-based Sales/Business Development role within the events or retail industry.
  • Experience in account management, with a proven track record of top performance and exceeding sales targets.
  • Confident presenter and ability to engage with the C-suite.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate about building an admired product and cultivating community across the retail and related industries.
  • Knowledge and ease of use across operating systems such as Hubspot, Zoominfo CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and organize your time effectively.
