Locum Consultant Infectious Diseases Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced midwife to join our Obstetric and Gynaecology Research Team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will contribute to the successful conduct of our expanding research portfolio, working closely with senior research colleagues to manage and coordinate concurrent research studies.
Main Responsibilities- Provide effective, caring, and compassionate services to patients participating in clinical research studies.
- Complete procedures and investigations according to study protocol, Trust, and local policies.
- Identify potential participants for recruitment, provide verbal and written information, monitor progress, and collect and collate patient data.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to coordinate clinical studies and ensure adherence to local, national, and international research regulations.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff, including a four-and-a-half-day leadership development programme and quality improvement training.
As a midwife in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, champion quality improvement, and contribute to the success of our research team.
Person Specification- Essential criteria: Educated to first degree level in a health-related subject, registered with the NMC, and considerable experience in the NHS clinical environment as a registered nurse with recent clinical skills practice in a specialist area.
- Desirable criteria: GCP training, previous experience in a senior role of band 6 or above.
