Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Sodexo in North Devon District Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality housekeeping services to create a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all areas are kept to a clean and healthy standard, taking pride in your work.
  • Participate in daily huddle meetings with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Replenish stock and consumables as needed.
  • Be a champion of health and safety practices, reporting any near misses.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally housekeeping, or a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take instruction.
