As a Head of Creative Strategy within the Brand Team, you will be an integral part of a dynamic creative department focused on crafting distinctive, strategic employer branding campaigns that enable our clients to differentiate themselves in a competitive talent landscape. You will have the opportunity to devise innovative creative solutions that enhance our clients' communications and mentor junior team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality creative outputs. We seek an individual with a robust background in Copywriting or Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and reinforce the organization's vision and values as they pertain to creative development and objectives.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Oversee and execute creative projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and present creative proposals, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.
- Present concepts to enhance clients' employer brand identities in alignment with global design trends.
- Possess a strong understanding of digital and social media best practices across various channels.
- Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and business partners on design and execution of materials.
- Work closely with Copywriters and other Creative Directors to develop creative executions for assigned projects.
- Maintain a solid understanding of market dynamics related to assigned projects.
- Coordinate with the Brand team to schedule and oversee all projects.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines independently.
- Serve as a people manager with two direct reports.
- Provide creative thought leadership within the organization.
- Partner with account services regularly to understand and strategize on client objectives.
- Advise account services on creative recommendations.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage complex timelines and deliverables while adapting to client creative needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of eight to ten years of professional graphic design experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced expertise in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat; knowledge of After Effects is a plus).
- Mastery of composition techniques in producing polished final pieces with attention to detail.
- Understanding of animations and the development of animations for social media and websites.
- Comprehensive knowledge of color theory, typography, perspective, and page composition.
- Familiarity with print production processes and techniques.
- Experience in web design and production of digital elements.
- Strong presentation skills.
This position is remote for fluent English speakers and requires local travel (20% of the time). Working hours are slightly adjusted to facilitate interaction with senior leaders based in the US.
