We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to become a vital part of our team at Kier Group.

Position Type: Permanent, full-time

This role involves collaborating on the IOS alliance, engaging with various disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation. The projects will encompass new builds, replacements, or repairs across the entire asset portfolio.

To ensure the successful management of water and water recycling initiatives, we require a Construction Project Coordinator who can oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with all necessary standards, regulations, financial targets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Assist the Operational/Project Delivery Manager in fulfilling project requirements.
  • Evaluate solutions and conduct root cause analyses, focusing on total lifecycle costs and risk mitigation.
  • Formulate solutions that adhere to corporate governance, technical and safety standards, and legal obligations.
  • Ensure all preparatory work, including design, scheduling, budgeting, and CDM requirements, is finalized for construction handover.
  • Adhere to all operational site Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality protocols to promote safe working conditions.
  • Support the documentation of assets and costs within the relevant corporate systems.

Candidate Profile:

This position is ideal for you if you possess:

  • Experience in the water sector, particularly in capital project delivery.
  • Relevant certifications such as EUSR Water Hygiene and SMSTS Temporary Works Coordinator.
  • An Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
