Injection Moulding Technical Manager

Workshop Recruitment is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technical Manager to join our client based in the Littlehampton area. The company specializes in injection moulding and cleanroom assembly for medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the Moulding Production team, ensuring team performance, training, health and safety, sickness, and holidays are all well-managed.
  • Oversee all mould tooling maintenance and servicing, liaising with external tooling suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Act as the point of contact for all tooling enquiries, arranging quotations and managing suppliers for new tools and tooling repairs.
  • Implement lean activities and upskill staff to improve production processes and efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Time served with experience in Toolmaking, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in injection moulding tooling management and/or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an injection moulding company.
  • Proficiency in lean principles and practices.
