Experis UK is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to oversee the strategic planning and risk assessment of a significant network's Virtual Migration.

Applicants should possess substantial expertise in virtualization technologies.

CONTRACT DETAILS


• Umbrella contract arrangement


• Flexible work model (1-2 days in the office)


• Initial contract duration of 5 months (with potential for extension)


• Daily Rate - £400-£480

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage the planning and risk assessment of default gateway transitions to the strategic network.
  • Lead the planning and risk management of AVI Load Balancer transitions.
  • Assist in resolving issues that arise post-migration.
  • Ensure network change compliance.
  • Experience with NSX V-T transitions.
  • Contribute to a large-scale program.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors such as VMware, Broadcom, and Cisco.

Daily Responsibilities:

The Lead Solutions Architect will provide guidance and management for the Virtual Migration, reporting directly to the Programme Manager. This role is crucial for the program's success, leading migration resources from a networking perspective while also engaging in pre and post-migration activities as required. The Lead Solutions Architect will collaborate with various teams, including the Virtualization Lead, UNIX Migration Lead, SAN Lead, Resource Management, and Planning functions.

As a key resource, you will offer support and direction to the broader program.

Preferred Qualifications: VMware Advanced Load Balancer, VMWare NSX V-T, VMWare NSX Advanced Load Balancer, VMware NSX-T, Expert Level Certification, Networking- VxRail, Networking, Networking-Cisco.
