We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our National Exports Operational Care Centre in Liverpool as an Operational Care Specialist Apprentice.
Your RoleAs a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective operations, focusing on providing outstanding care and service to our clients. You will manage the complex logistics and coordination required to move goods across the globe.
Your Responsibilities- Align with our Customer Care Teams to meet and exceed our Customer's requirements
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers to arrange the shipment of goods
- Prepare and verify export documentation, including invoices, shipping instructions and packing lists
- Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and related documentation
- Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address and resolve operational challenges
- The minimum entry requirement for this apprenticeship is Five GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 / A*-D including Maths & English

- Good planning and organization skills are important, and you will need the ability to multitask and be a self-starter
- Previous use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is beneficial
- Please be aware that this vacancy does not meet the minimum requirements for visa sponsorship and for apprenticeship funding, candidates must have been resident in the EEA for at least the last 3 years
- Apprenticeship Contract: Fixed Term - 2 years
- Working hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, including 1 hour lunch
- Place of work: Outline. Will be expected onsite full time until performance expectations met & initial training completed. If approved, opportunity to work from home 2 days a week is available
- Step 1: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis
- Step 2: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a telephone screening call with a member of our Resourcing team
- Step 3: A final shortlist of candidates will be invited to an interview onsite with two members of the hiring team
- Step 4: All candidates will receive telephone feedback after their interviews and if offered will be invited to return to the office for a further site tour and to provide right to work documentation
