We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Care & Case Management Services LTD. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support to our clients and their families.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be supporting a young lady with cerebral palsy and complex needs, living in her own home. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates through low-tech methods and gestures. You will be responsible for enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities, empowering her to be as independent as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 2:1 care and support to the client 24/7
  • Assisting the client with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Supporting the client to engage in rehabilitation and social activities, such as shopping and bowling
  • Empowering the client to make choices and decisions about her life
  • Working collaboratively with the client's family and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults with disabilities and complex needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients who use alternative methods of communication
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the client
