Job Summary:

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at a busy Distribution site in Coventry. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the site, its employees, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties, including badge printing and area access control
  • Alarm monitoring and CCTV investigations
  • Controlling access of visitors, staff, and contractors
  • Internal and external patrols
  • Following site procedures and reporting incidents and accidents to the customer
  • Gatehouse duties, including checking drivers' IDs and vehicles
  • Screening and searching when required

Requirements:

  • A valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence
  • A 5-year checkable work/education history
  • Competent computer skills and knowledge of computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to create comprehensive incident reports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A happy to help others attitude
