Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our Surgical Services team, you will be responsible for assisting in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, gynaecology, and ENT. Your role will involve:

  • Scrubbing for surgeries led by consultants, which vary in complexity and specialty.
  • Developing tailored care plans that consider the patient's individual needs, care pathways, and perioperative risks.
  • Supporting the assessment of patients' health and well-being across a diverse and evolving caseload.
  • Promoting best practices and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Leading efforts to enhance health, safety, security, and infection control within the working environment.

Who We Seek

  • A Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years of scrub experience.
  • Current registration with NMC/HCPC, with no restrictions on practice.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Competence across a range of clinical skills, supported by professional knowledge.
  • A highly motivated individual who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • Experience in orthopaedics is highly desirable.
