Job Title: Warehouse Sales Specialist - Construction Materials

Job Summary:

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Sales Specialist - Construction Materials to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internally based position dealing with a distributed range of construction products such as concrete repair, waterproofing, screeding, joint filling, grouts & anchors, sealants, protective coating etc.
  • Customers primarily consist of main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors, to a lesser extent you will also deal with builders merchants
  • Responsibilities will include working within the warehouse, primarily in the mornings and towards the end of the day, dealing with incoming enquiries via the telephone and email, giving advice and updates to customers, keeping the warehouse tidy and maintaining stock levels, helping to load and unload orders and deliveries
  • Working within a branch that is turning over £2.5m

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in either a warehouse or sales position
  • Ideally looking for someone looking to progress from a 100% warehouse position into sales with the scope to shift entirely into a sales advisor role
  • Would consider someone working in a yard for a builders merchant
  • Ideally someone early in their career looking to grow with a business
  • A great team player as well as the ability to work autonomously
  • Enthusiastic with a good work ethic, happy with getting 'stuck in'
  • Professional, organised and driven
