Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Molecular Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at The Francis Crick Institute. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in molecular biology, focusing on the molecular basis of RNA virus replication.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead their own research project(s) and contribute to other collaborative projects. You will work closely with our team of scientists, including PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and senior laboratory research scientists, to advance our understanding of RNA virus replication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the molecular basis of RNA virus replication
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and trends
  • Develop and implement new research methods and techniques
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance our understanding of RNA virus replication
  • Present research findings at scientific meetings and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a PhD in Virology, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with a strong interest in virology. You will also have a track record of writing papers as evidenced by publications or submitted manuscripts in referred journals, and excellent communication skills to enable close working with lab members, collaborators, and relevant core facilities.
