Postdoctoral Fellow Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at the Francis Crick Institute. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developmental biology, biochemistry, or tumour biology and will be responsible for leading their own projects, contributing to other projects, and guiding PhD students in their research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute experiments to investigate the molecular regulation of intestinal stem cells and cancer, focusing on WNT signalling.
  • Develop and maintain 3D organoid culture systems derived from primary human and mouse intestine.
  • Conduct animal handling and ChIP-seq workflow and analysis.
  • Write and contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts, reports, presentations, and records of experimental plans and results.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Developmental Biology, Biochemistry, Tumour Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience in 3D organoid culture, ChIP-seq workflow and analysis, and animal handling.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience in data presentation at scientific meetings.
