About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team at HMP Lancaster Farms. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and providing treatment options. You will work closely with patients to understand their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking medication rounds and assessing patients' physical and mental health needs
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
